New York Spa Alliance (NYSPA) was formed to create awareness of and to provide support to New York State's vibrant and vital Spa business community.
Throughout the 19th Century, New York State was a dominating center for mineral spring Spas and related hospitality programs in the United States. Today, the New York Spa business community is in the midst of a new resurgence and is creating significant economic growth for New York State in the areas of health, wellness and tourism. This resurgence is generating thousands of new jobs throughout New York State and increasingly is a key element in the rejuvenation of rural, suburban and urban communities throughout the State.
